Robberg Nature Reserve

A definite highlight! I would call it a must visit several times at different hours of the day. Very high chance of land-based whale spotting, seals, birds, etc. Well marked 2,5 or 4 hours roundtrip.

Nature’s Valley

Nature’s Valley, so close – Robinson Crusoe Feeling!
Feel like the first men on earth in this nature’s paradise. You have to do the hiking trails to the secret hidden lagoon. That’s another reason to stay (much) longer.

Salt River Lagoon, a short but extremely rewarding hike! Adventurous. Cross the river and continue to the Salt River Lookout.

Beaches

Keurbooms Lagoon and Lookout Beach
On any sunny day it’s a must! If you are lucky you may pick up a rare pansy shell which is iconic to Plettenberg Bay.

Central / Main Beach
Crowded in peak season but still beautiful during off season. Very safe for swimming.

Robberg Beach
Another pure delight in Plettenberg Bay!

Keurboomstrand
The beautiful village of Keurbooms nestled in the trees at the beach! Only a stone’s throw away.

Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre

Fantastic rehabilitation centre… they look after our area’s sick or injured wildlife, and release them back into the wild once they have recovered. You can also see cheetahs here! Tenikwa has adopted a ‘No-Contact’ policy. Booking is essential! www.tenikwa.co.za
