MEET CHEF LINCOLN
His love affair with food is almost palpable. Lincoln has been cooking since he was a young boy and after graduating top of his class in hospitality studies at the South Cape College, he hit the ground running. Gaining much experience over the years in busy hotel and restaurant kitchens, Lincoln accepted the invitation to join the team at La Vista, thrilled at the prospect of spreading his creative culinary wings. When dining at La Vista, you have the unique experience of being served by Lincoln and before the end of the meal, you’ll feel like one of the family.
STAY A WHILE
With a unique eagle eye view of the spectacularly beautiful Keurbooms lagoon and Indian Ocean in the background and our idyllic pool sparkling in the foreground, La Vista is the perfect destination for intimate celebrations.

We offer delicious three course private or communal DINNERS, which our chef Lincoln prepares with seasonally fresh produce. There are three main options regularly featured on the menu. Beautifully grilled Smoked Salmon, Beef Fillet prepared to your liking or the option of fresh fish of the day, bought from one of our local fisheries. To ensure that our guests have a delightful dinner experience with us, we require guests to pre-book, seeing all our produce are sourced locally.
At La Vista we celebrate the region we live in and enjoy. So, when the time came to choose a signature wine, what better way to honour our fertile wine country than choosing a local wine. Local vineyard Andersons Wines produces a superb Leto Venus Sauvignon Blanc.
Says winemaker Anton Smal, “This unusually large moth, the Leto Venus, breeds in the soft trunk of the Keurboom tree, in the picturesque area of Plettenberg Bay. It is here, in this unique area, that the Sauvignon Blanc grapes enjoy the cool sea breezes of the Indian Ocean, soft rolling mists as well as the warmth of the sun, all combining in ripening them to perfection. This white wine displays nuances of passion fruit, green melon and white pear. It has a wonderful vibrancy with a fresh balanced limey finish. A complete wine with dimensions of flavour.” Bon appetite!
